Foundation member Kathy Hill with Kyle Nordquist (standing) of
Applied Software of Beresford, SD and the first grade class of
teacher Ashley Martin and mentor Karen Kirkebak, with the two new
computers that were purchased with a $1000 grant from the Beresford
Area Foundation. The funds to make the grant were generated by the
local foundations community savings account invested with the South
Dakota Community Foundation in Pierre. The School partnered with the
local foundation and Applied Software to provide hardware, software
and IT support to install the new computers that are greatly
appreciated by the first graders and their teachers. Thank you to
the community of Beresford for making this possible.
